Identifying and Overcoming Imposter Syndrome

Clinicians often deal with imposter syndrome. Whether its the new clinician questioning their ability as they begin in the profession, or experienced clinicians as they try new ventures, we all will face the challenge of imposter syndrome. This lecture will help clinicians identify imposter syndrome in themselves. Clinicians will also learn which of the five types of imposter syndrome they face. And they will also learn strategies for dealing with imposter syndrome when it occurs

Through this presentation attendees will learn the following:

a. Defining imposter syndrome

b. Understand the five types of imposter syndrome and identify which one affects them

c. Learn strategies to use when confronted with imposter syndrome

d.     Understand how imposter syndrome affects marginalized groups

General Refund Policy

The general refund policy states that refunds for live webinars or live workshops will be honored if cancellations are received at least five (5) days prior to the event. However, refunds will not be issued for On-Demand (Asynchronous) webinars, as participants have immediate access to all materials upon purchase. Additionally, refunds will not be issued due to technical limitations of the participant. Payments made via Credit Card will have a three percent credit card fee deducted from the refund, while cash or check payments are not subject to these fees. It is important to note that last-minute cancellations, including those due to emergencies or unforeseen circumstances, will result in the forfeiture of all money paid for the workshop

Weather Cancellation Policy

For live (in-person) workshops, the policy states that they will take place on the specified date and time unless a "State of Emergency" is declared for greater than 50% of the State of Georgia, including Dekalb and Fulton counties. In such cases, the workshop will be rescheduled to a future date, and a monetary credit will be transferred from the original date to the newly rescheduled date. Refunds will not be given for any weather-related events

ADA Requests

The organization will make every effort to accommodate any reasonable ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) request. Participants are required to call at least two weeks prior to the event to make the necessary arrangements. Payment and registration are also required to fulfill an ADA request 

.

CE Certificate Replacement Fee

If participants fail to obtain or misplace their CE (Continuing Education) certificate for any workshop offered by the organization, they have one year to request a replacement certificate free of charge. However, if the request is made for a workshop held more than one year after the date of the workshop, a $20.00 CE certificate replacement fee will be imposed and must be paid in full prior to receiving the replacement certificate.

Returned Check Fee

In the event that a personal or business check used to pay for a workshop is returned for any reason (e.g., insufficient funds, account closed), there will be a $35.00 returned check fee.

Complaint or Grievance

If participants have a complaint or grievance, they are encouraged to contact the organization directly via email or phone during business hours. The organization strives to offer the best possible customer service and will make every effort to address and resolve any issues
